Handan Titiz, MS

Handan Titiz holds an EdM in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a BA in Psychology from University of Massachusetts. Ms. Titiz has been a Survey Methodologist at Children’s Hospital Boston, working as a consultant and a collaborator with investigators on survey methods and design for clinical trials and health services research. Prior to joining Children’s Hospital Boston, Ms. Titiz held positions in education, counseling and research at various institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, and University of Massachusetts. Ms. Titiz’s recent work includes patient-provider communications, patient satisfaction and methodological work on increasing response rates in web surveys. Ms. Titiz will be starting her doctoral studies in Health and Behavior Studies at Columbia University Teachers College in Fall 2011. Currently, she is interested in health communications and health education and their implications on health outcomes.
