Biography
She is a professor of Public Health at Marmara University, School of Medicine since 2013. She graduated from Istanbul University School of Medicine in 1994. She got her MPH degree from Hadassah Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency in Public Health at Istanbul University School of Medicine in 2002. Since then she has been working at Marmara University, School of Medicine Department of Public Health. She is the co-author of a book on Evidence Based Medicine. Her research interests are epidemiology, biostatistics, qualitative research methods, evidence based medicine, women’s health, child health, health seeking behavior and community mental health.
